Hi everyone, I amrelatively new at this,but just needed to ak a few questions,i am a44 year old mum with 4 children and i was diagnosed at the end of oct 2007 with a malignant melanoma1.90 breslow score no ulceration, i had a WLE and aSNB 3 weeks ago got my results yesterday not good 2of the 3 lymph nodes removed have melanoma cells,I am booked for groin lymph node dissection,i am scared to death. Even though the stories on this forum are inspirational to say the least,it seems nobody escapes this dreadful disease and even though some are given the all clear the rate at which it returns is petrifying. Has anybody ever had remission? is there any hope for any life longevity? I am not a religious person how can faith help? sorry to ask these questions guys but i feel so alone.

janie, I am truly sorry about your diagnosis. I do not know much about melanomas other that they are bad as usually recur at some point in time. I just wanted to let you know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I cannot begin to imagine how frightening this all must be for you.

2005 Recurrence this time said to be an Oligodendoglioma grade 3, same location.
