My 73rd old aunt has a sore on top of her head, we took her to the dr. he cut out the sore said it was probably basal cell. When the lab results came back it said it wasn't cancerous. Ok it's been 3 months since it was removed, and it's not healed yet. I know that she picks at it, so I know this causes a delay in the healing process. But I don't know if it still could be cancer is that possible? Has anyone else had a sore or what was thought to be a basal cell and it didn't heal very well after it was cut out? If so what did you do is there anything I can use on it to help in the healing? I need some good advice, because the dr. told me to keep doing what I have been, it heals up then it opens again. She has dementia so it's hard to keep her from scratching, and I know she does it through the night. Any advice would be very much appreciated!

Have a Safe & Happy New Year One & All!

Beth
