After doing a chest Ct following thyroid cancer an enlarged thymus was noted and so I was sent to do a pet scan to determine wether it was cancer. Results I reeived this week said'diffuse thymic activity with a SUVmax of 2.9" What does this mean? Is cancer suspected?
