Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone could help me out with my father's urgent condition.

My father has chronic lymphocytic leukemia which the doctor told me is very similar to non-hodgkin's lymphoma. The latest bone marrow test result shows that 85% of his bone borrow has been affected by diffused large B cells. Both his white and red blood cells are unstable, especially the red blood cells. He needs approximately 500ml of blood transfusion every week.

He's currently undergoing some chemotherpay consisting of Mabthera (aka Rituximab) and a reduced dose hyper-CVAD. However, I have a strong feeling that this chemotherpay will not work as he had the same regime 11 months ago and the doctor said my father has only limited options.

Other chemotherapies my father received in the past include CHOP, ICE and fludarabine.

Could anybody share their experience or know of someone who had the same condition as my father and were successful with their treatment? If so, what chemotherapy or other forms of treatment they had? I would like to open as many options as possible and discuss that with my father's doctor.
