--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hello Members,

I'm Charlie Redd from Cocoa, FL.

I am new to this forum but not to PCa. I was diagnosed with PCa in Feb 2000. I chose Dr. Michael Dattoli and received EBRT followed by Palladium Seed Implant. PSA went from 8.9 in Feb 2000 to 0.06 in July of 2001. It started slow rise to 0.23 in Jan 2001until it got up to 11.16 in Feb 2004. I then started on ADT, Lupron and Casodex. PSA fell to 0.59 and continued to fall to 0.00 in Jan 2005. I was on the ADT for nine months. By Dec. of 2005 my PSA had risen to 9.2. I went back on the ADT for nine months until Sept 2006. My PSA was 0.08. By July 17th of this year PSA came back up to 8.49 and has been increasing at a rapid rate. July 31st 11.04...Aug. 21st 11.09...Sept. 4th 13.03...Sept. 14th 14.0...Oct 9th 16.51...Oct 24th 19.280...Oct 30th 21.4...Nov. 8th 23.910...Nov. 17th I started Prostosol daily 2x2...would you believe on Nov. 20th my PSA had fallen to 12.39 ? I had it checked again on Nov, 27th but I do not have the results yet. I can't believe this drop until I see the results of the last blood draw.

I'm fighting this dadgum complex PCa in every way I can. I changed my lifestyle of 70 years on SAD, Standard American Diet, to that of a healthy vegan lifestyle Very Happy . It was the reading of "The China Study" that convinced me to make this change. Dr. John McDougall was referrenced in this book and a challenge was made to try the vegan type diet for 30 days. I took this challenge in June of 2006 and have lived with this healthy life style ever since. I'm not trying to promote him but know that most of you would like to be healthier. Time to get off of my soapbox. Laughing My wife also has cancer. She has adnoid cystic carcinoma of the throat. She has been through surgery twice and 37 days of radiation therapy. She has also become a vegan and we are presently doing great. We both will continue to fight our cancer.

Best Wishes and Prayers to All,

Charlie
