|

| After reading some of the posts on this site, my problem seems trivial. Two years ago I had melanoma surgery. Two lymph nodes were also removed at my groin. A large chunk of my rear thigh above the knee was removed. I am experiencing SO much pain in my leg and the doctors pretty much tell me its in my head. I only wish it were. It throbs, aches, tingles.... keeps me up at night. I need someone to talk to.... someone to help me. Its affecting my entire life..... I'm an emotional mess. Does anyone know what this is?? How long will it take to heal?? How can I get my doctors to listen to me and help me?? Thank you for any help or advice. My direct email is: diane914@gmail.com |

Ask your doctor(s) to refer you to a specialist or to another specialist for a second opinion. This will at the very least get their attention! No one should have to live in pain, not even if it is mental pain!!! That is not an excusse for them to neglect treament. It is the old out that a lot of doctors try to take: "That is not my specialty." I always say back to them: "If is not your specialty, then refer me to somebody else!" _________________ Jim

Do you work, go to school, or live with or around places with dense black populations? http://skin-cancer-in-black-and-white.blogspot.com/ [/quote] This does not sound like what I have AT ALL. I find it very disturbing that you would send me this....... I thought this forum was here to get help..... |

Goingnuts, I also found robertkimble's post to be very disturbing if not actually racially motivated. I have deleted his message to you. I am sorry for any additional pain he caused you. I have asked Leo for his input on this subject. If there is no validity to it, I will ban that member. In addition, that link is to a blog and not to a primary source. _________________ Jim

I consulted with Dr. Faoro (Leo) about the second had UV from African Americans and he said, quote "Total BS" unquote. Therefore, I have deleted robertkimble's membership.
