19 and have lots of symptoms of colon cancer

hi im 19 years old and a month ago i started to notice a pain under my left ribcage, it comes and goes, then i started to get constipation and my stomach started to get very bloeated when i ate becasue my food wasn't digesting properly, and when i do get the chance to go my stools are a light brown and very tarry, 2 times a saw red flakes or spots mixed with my bowel, im not sure if it was blood or not? but it was a light red, i get heartburn, nasua sometimes, pain under my left shoulder blade, and my breath sometimes smells like vomit...its weird... and just yesterday i started to have a dull pain in my rectum...Im still always hungry...my appitite is good...

now i went to the doctors about 5 times and they told me i have no sighns of colon cancer or any kind of cancer...i keep telling them i doo becasue when i read symptoms on the net i have them....all they do is feel my abdamin, and they got me to do 3 blood tests and a xray comming up GI series...the blood tests are for bacteria or something...

If anyone has any idea what i might have please tell me....im pretty scared, actually im very scared..

OK, first of all have you had a colonoscopy? this is a simple painless procedure that involves a couple of days of bowel preparation by drinking a bowel preparation solution over 2 days, 1 day involes fasting and the third day you go into a day procedure clinic for 3 hrs and under heavy sedation (you don't feel a thing) the gastroenterologist has a good look at your bowel. This will eliminate coloncancer. At the other end you can have and endoscopy which involves having a look at your stomach etc. Your symptoms may be more to do with stomach reflux than colonon cancer - so why don't you go and get these done? Both can be done at the same time. That way you will be asured.

In the meantime - take a note of the foods, drinks etc that make you feel worse and the quantilty. Monitor your food intake, eat smaller meals more often and drink lots of water (cut out all fizzy drinks) .

I don't know where you live, I'm in Australia and my GP can refer me to have this done.
