Hi,

In the last couple of years I have noticed a suspicious mole on my neck.
Being too vain and arogent I ignored the mole.
Finally I scheule the removal of this mole last month and have been recently found to have a melanoma stage 2 on my neck(0.98mm thick). If only I had removed the damn thing sooner......
but thats life and I didnt remove when I should have.

Last week I was scheduled for a nodal biopsy and excision, again, sadly enough I chickened out and only had the the excision. The reason I chickend out was that originally I thought the nodal biopsy would be in my neck, however the radiologic marking showed the lymph nodes are in my face. I had 10 minnutes to choose whether to cancel the whole thing, limit the operation to the local excision or go through a face lift under full anesthesia.
Though I tend to belive I removed the tumer on time, I am obliged to my family (wife and 3 loving, loveble loveley daughters) to minimize the chances of any risk to my life and go through the lymph nodees biopsy.

Today, a week later, I understand there is no avoiding the procedure. However I will have to wait for the radio-active marking to disapear before repeating the marking process.
I hope my future choices are better.....
