I was just diagnosed with melanoma cancer on my back and am going in for surgery to have it removed. The doctor said it will be approx. a 3in. incision and I will be under a local anesthetic. I freaked out pretty bad while having the biopsy (which isn't a very invasive procedure) and am wondering if anyone has had this procedure done and can possibly help ease my nerves. I am considering going to a plastic surgeon so I can have general anesthetic. Any thoughts would be great! Thanks Smile
