I was diagnosed with prostrate cancer in March 21, 2006 PSA of 4. and Gleason 6. I did a lot of research and my best option for my age and circumstances was to have robotic surgery with the best Dr Ash Tewari at Cornell University at Presbyrterian Hospital in New York.

I was led to Dr Tewari by reading all the extensive research and surgeries that he has done. I emailed his office, and faxed my case file one evening and was contacted by phone the next day by an assistant in Dr Tewari office. She review my case history and stated Dr Tewari would call me.

Later that day Dr Tewari called me. Due to the strong reputation and history I asked him if he would personally do the surgery. Dr Tewari stated he would and he did. I was worried that due to his experience and the fact that he teaches world wide that I might be handed over to his assistant or associate doctor.

My surgery went as planned on July 14, 2006 and Dr Tewari did the surgery as stated. I walked out of the hospital the next day with catheter. My catheter was removed the Thursday July 20, and I have not had any contience problems or leakage problems since.

If anyone would like any further information please email me at invdall@sbcglobal.net.

I was extremely happy with Dr Tewari and his staff. I was treated wonderfully and I would highly recommend Dr Tewari and his staff along with the great care I received at Presbyterian Hospital.
