I noticed a lump in my neck immediately to the right of my windpipe a little over a month ago (I know for certain that it wasn't there about 6 months ago). So I went to the doctor's on Friday and he did a CBC and said that the results pointed strongly to an infection (my WBC was high, my Seg was high [no idea what that is], and my Lymph count was low). After that appointment (from which his official diagnosis was just adenopathy) I got my antibiotics and was told to go back on July 28th. Now here's the strange thing- although my lump is apparently a swollen anterior cervical lymph node, it seems to extend smoothly onto the top of my windpipe. It also seems to me that the right side of my neck might be a bit swollen and I have recently noticed (as in 2 days ago) another lump a few centimeters above my thyroid directly in front of my windpipe. It does seem to be attached to my windpipe but is fairly soft and painful when pressed too hard. The thing that confuses me the most other than my swollen lymph node is that of these three "lumps", two of them appear to be more thin sheets of enlarged tissue (where tissue shouldn't be though). I have no symptoms other than the one swollen lymph node with its strange little attachment and the painful thing in front of my windpipe. So basically, my question is does this describe any form of lymphoma anyone has had or heard of? I had a slight sinus infection and/or allergies when I first found the initial lump and thought that it may have caused it. But now that it hasn't gone away I am getting extremely worried. I'm going to give the antibiotics until my next appointment to try to do something, but I'm still just so nervous. Do any of these random thin, smooth lumps indicate lymphoma? Thanks for any help you can give.

Oh, and as a side note, I've tried research but couldn't find anything significant pertaining to my CBC. Would a raised WBC and Seg and a lowered Lymph count possibly indicate lymphoma?

Again, thanks for any help.

in my opinion i would point the lump 2 just being a swollen gland/lymphnode and the reason y i think this is coz u said that u had allergies and sinus problems prior 2 finding the lump and im assuming ur talking about the lump wen u say that its a little sore and soft 2 touch.. they r all good signs of it not being lymphoma but im no doctor so plz dont take much notice of wot im writing.. its just my opinion.
hope i answered any of ur questions u may have had.

Thanks, and I hope you're right. Today is my last day on antibiotics and I've noticed another new painless lump, so I shall be going back to the doctor's soon just in case. I just pray it's a viral infection or something and that's why the antibiotics didn't work.
