| Montanadaver, we're kinda planning a visit to Montana & Idaho in a couple years. I've always wanted to see the Idaho snake river country. You said you like to hunt; Do you have pheasants there? I know they were originally imported to Oregon. |

Yes we do. We seem to to have quite a few this year. Just standing around out in the cut fields. Of course I don't have my shotgun with me when I see them! |

| My eight-year-old son Marty and I have found a new way to bond. I was looking for any information about bird feeders. So for this week, we are busy making some bird feeders made of milk cartons. I somehow get a chance to talk to him longer and discuss about his day in school or when he's with his friends. He's also thinking of what project we should do next. |

My hobby is one that most people have never heard of; "Geocaching".
This Sport (hobby) was started in Seattle in 2000 and has now spread all over the world. People hide things in Parks, Trails, Points of Interest (POI) and post this information on the internet with clues and GPS coordinates. Sometime they included puzzles that need to be complete prior to the search. Cachers (Lookers) take their GPS and attempt to find these items which could be anything from an Ammo Box, Tupperware and even small containers the size of a fingernail. In the larger containers they put small priced items and you "Take Something and Leave Something" and sign a log book. You then post your find and experience of your adventure on the internet for all to read. You get great exercise plus see many POIs. I lost a year of caching with PC but am able to do again. Goggle "Geocaching" if interested. _________________ Ken

This is actually a very old, old thread. Thank you Ken for finding it and reviving it.
I used to be a ham radio operator. Now I have a hobby that I have never heard anyone talking about. I look for international radio stations that broadcast their programs in English and on the Internet. The "on the Internet" part is not very hard. The "In English" part is harder. _________________ Jim

I like to read, fish, hunt pigs (I can't shoot to save myself but my partner can) and camping. My old hobbies (back in the fitter days) were basketball, water skiing, horse riding. I like computers but being on them all day at work and then getting home and trying to fight the kids off it doesn't entice me as much as I would like. I also am very interested in weather and am a member of a weather forum. Don't post much on it but read it all the time. Especially now that we have our first cyclone for the season - makes for interesting reading. I would love to be one of those storm chasers.
KRay - I have actually heard of Geocaching but have never done it. It sounds great. We have a GPS now and are getting into it more now that Andrew is well enough to get out and about again. Will have to look into it.

Where i live and alos my parents out of town....Is amazing
So many stars- no city or town lights. A million falling stars to wish upon. Its beautiful.
I used to throw a rug out in the middle of a paddock and lie and stare for ages. I can't wait to do that with hunter this year. _________________ Thinking of you Inica
