What: ?Gift of Noise? A Benefit for the Kia Nowotne Fund

Where: Sandbar 11 Marin Blvd Jersey City, NJ 07302

When: Thursday August 4, 2005 7:00 pm ? 2:00 am

Kia Nowotne was recently diagnosed with ovarian cancer for the second time. Hours missed at work during the early stages of her treatment led to the loss of her job, compromising the status of her health insurance, and leaving Kia unable to support herself for the duration of her treatment. The music community was outraged and wished to come to the aid of their friend. This event will bring together some of the most celebrated members of the independent music community to raise awareness and generate funds.

The donation to attend the event is $20 the day of and $15 in advance.

VENUE CHANGE, EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY, FOR GIFT OF NOISE CONCERT ON 8/4/2005. IT IS NOW TO BE HELD AT

THE SHANGHAI ROCK HOTEL, 39TH ST., B/W 5TH AND 6TH AVE., IN NEW YORK CITY (A MUCH BETTER LOCATION!). PLEASE MAKE A NOTE AND COME OUT TO SUPPORT KIA IF YOU CAN.
