Last December after having my gall bladder removed, a 9.4mm lung nodule was found in my right lung. Since that time I have still experienced some upper right quadrant pain front and back. Have had an abdominal and pelvic CT as well as Chest CT-all normal. Have also been dealing with headache, blurry vision,nausea-went to neuro who diagnosed occipital neuralgia. Just had MRI of head and neck as well as an MRA. Don't have results yet. She also did tumor markers blood test and I don't have the results of that either. My pulmonologist is pretty certain that the lung nodule is not a neoplasm. I have had a number of blood tests run-all normal. I'm just concerned that some kind of cancer is being missed. What do you think? Is there something else I should be pursuing. I am in contact with the surgeon who removed my gall bladder. He doesn't think I have cancer. I am quite anxious about this. My son died of a brain tumor two years ago.

With all the imaging you have had done this far, it is highly unlikely that you have a hidden cancer. The only thing not imaged was your feet and hands.

Just go with the flow and let the doc do their job and you just ask all the questions you can so that they will do a better job of looking and you will have solice.

Hello

You seem to have had an extensive evaluation for this. Small nodules like this that look benign can be followed with serial CTs, so if they don't enlarge they are ok.

regards,
Leo
