This study included a total of 12.7 thousand cases of the age of 51 to 72 years without history of breast cancer in women, all the test objects were involved in the United States National Institutes of Health (NIH) Health-AARP diet and health research. The study aimed at investigating the diet, health-related life habits and the relationship between cancer risk and found that, compared with other NSAIDs, aspirin has a different biological effects.

Aspirin belongs to a family of NSAIDs, but unlike other members of its irreversibility of the role of cyclooxygenase. The main leader of the study, said Dr. Gierach, daily aspirin type of estrogen receptor-positive breast cancer, the proportion of patients decreased. The discovery in cancer prevention has a positive meaning, Gierach see the need for further study of this effect were accurate. Experts have pointed out, long-term use of aspirin can cause serious adverse reactions (induced by severe gastrointestinal bleeding), and therefore should not as a cancer prevention drug.

i beleive that the aspirin also reduces the chance of other cancer as well including colorectal cancer, and it may be advisable to take the low-dosage daily, as aspirin appears to have side effects. Therefore, it appears only advisable to take it if the person has prior incidents of cancer.
