i asked question abaut doctor walt and constant touching lymph nodes and no body answer, pleace answer.

Hi.

The only answer I have is that I have no answer. Please remember that we are not doctors, just patients and caregivers.

My own opinion, if we're talking about hard squeezing, such as popping a pimple on your face, then yes, that can cause swelling in a lymph node, or anything else for that matter. But just plain touching probably cannot do much harm.

Hi!

I noticed your question about Dr Walt the other day and I was confused, then I noticed that other people were confused as well.

Anyway, Dr Walt could be a good Dr or he could be a bad Dr. He may not even be properly qualified.

Common sense says to you that lymphnodes COULD be enlarged (just a tiny bit) by constant touching, but it is unlikely that they would be CONSTANTLY enlarged by touching.

The best thing to do is to stay away from the internet and Dr Walt! The forum is a good place to share experiences, but the best place for you to see about actual medical problems is a doctor. That is the only way you will get any results.

Forget about Dr Walt, and what he says. Focus on your health and staying comfortable with what you are proceeding with.

Any news yet on your situation?

I too read your question but did not reply because I have never hear of Dr. Walt. The only database that keeps track of the quality of doctors is the Medicare database and it is not open to the public. This is being challenged in the court system but until such time as the court rules that information to be public, we cannot know for sure about any doctor. I also agree with aisha; do not trust all that you read on the Internet. You could very well find people who absolutely love Dr Walt and others who hate him.

Sorry to hear of your worries. The first thing you need to do is calm down a bit and don't panic. I think you were asking " can constant prodding of lymph nodes cause them to enlarge" and the answer is yes. However I do not think this is the case with you and I also think that this is unlikely to be cancer. There are more than 300 causes of enlarged nodes and a doctor needs to see you so that the reason can be found out. No one here can help you at this point, only a doctor can do that be seeing you in person.

The best way to help yourself is to write all your questions down on paper and also write a complete list of your symptoms then take this to the doctor. Do this as soon as possible as the process of narrowing down the cause of enlarged nodes is very difficult and can take a long time. have patience and don't panic as this will only make it harder for you. All of us in this forum have had to go through this horrible wait, the worst thing you can do for yourself is trying to guess what is wrong by looking on the net.

Make that appointment soon and by all means keep us posted.
