This can be helpful for those who suffer from painful mouth sores, a common side effect for R-CHOP chemo regimen and others.
I’ve just had very painful mouth sores in my tongue. I couldn’t eat solid food or even talk. My oncology team suggested gurgling with 50% hydrogen peroxide-water and/or baking soda + salt solution. It didn’t help. A Google search brought up a remedy I am familiar with : Kenalog/Orabase (Triamcinolone). It was useful when I had to treat mouth canker sores. My dentist recommended it highly and gave me the Rx. The painful mouth sores vanished in almost one day. This med is not available OTC.

My father had month sores often. He was prescribed a liquid called "Miracle Wash". It worked a little.
