Ack My biopsy is tomorrow!

I wasnt feeling nervous until today! My surgical biopsy is tomorrow and I am praying they can figure out what the heck is going on with me!

I dont know if I have been having anxiety, but this past week my throat fee;s swollen and feels like it is kinda hard to swallow! Like it is closing! I wasnt sure if this is normal since I have so many enlarged neck lymph nodes or what. Kinda freaking me out, and the more I think about it, it gets worse, lol! It must be anxiety Embarassed

Anxiety is certainly normal, especially if it is the first time. But its something that millions of other people have gotten through, so I believe you will get through this as well.

Wishing you luck. I know that the night before is a bit nerve wracking. Hope you have someone to watch the kids as well.

I'm thinking of you and hope you are ok. At least this is moving in the right direction. You should have some answers soon.

Take care of yourself and try and relax after the operation. It will feel a bit weird when they chenge the dressing and a cut on your neck is a strange place to try and protect (with the kids), but you will be fine.

I hope it goes well, and you are not in an uncomfortable position. I also have an appointment today with the haematologist, so we will both be gaining some insight!

yay I am done and home! The surgery went well. But no results yet Sad

. My doctor seemed concerned though. I asked him what he thought and he said he is not sure yet what it is. But whatever it is we will take it one step at a time. He did however tell my sister that it was huge! So I guess I will just have to wait and see.

But the good thing is that I am not having as much swallowing in my throat now. So it must of been the big ol lymph node restricting some of my throat! Glad it is gone and done.

Thank you all for your support. I will def post back with the results. Off to nap ; )

Surgeons can usually tell but won't until it's confirmed.
It is stressful waiting but at least you know you will know soon and can move forward.

It's big relief knowing even if it's bad news.

So for some reason I feel so calm about it all. Which is good! I am just ready to figure out what it causing me to feel sick so that I can get better and move on!

I have been losing weight for awhile now, but i actually dropped 6 pounds in a week. Not sure if that is a good or bad thing Wink

My neck is still sore but def starting to feel better.

My doctor appt is tomorrow morning! They will take the stitches out and go over the results. I am now feeling nervous and anxious!
I have online services with my health care, doctors, test results etc. And I was suprised that 2 of my biospy tests came back and I could view them. They were for infection type things and were both negative for bacteria etc. Which I was really thinking it must be an infection, there is just no way I could have cancer. But now, I am really starting to think this could actually be cancer!

Everything will be fine! Don't stress too much and try to stay positive. Think from the different side that tomorrow you will find out the reason of your swollen lymph nodes and you will finally be able to move on.

Good luck for tomorrow, and take someone with you (not saying that it will be bad news). At least you will get to know what has been going on with your body and the online thing sounds like a great idea. London should have that!

Whatever your news is, you must accept. If it is not cancer, put this all behind you and deal with the problem. If it is lymphoma, then you have a very good chance at beating it in a matter of months. Don't despair ok?

Remember to stay positive! I was convinced that I was doomed and my results came back as benign! Remember - the VAST MAJORITY of swollen lymph nodes are NOTHING! Smile
