Painful lump behind knee...something to worry about??? What is this ?

I noticed this very painful lump behind my knee a few days ago. Haven't had any injuries or infections. It's about 1.5 cms. and oval. I can't find much info online about lymph nodes behind the knee. Had a lymph node swell and get tender under my arm about 3 months ago but it was gone in about 2 days. Probably nothing. Anyone else ever have this? Thanks, pzach

Hi

Sorry to hear about the painful lump.

Sounds like a bakers cyst, its very unlikely to be Lymphoma as the lumps in Lymphoma are generally painless. You should take it to the doctor as soon as you can.
