I swear my mouth is STILL sore...actually think it's just sensitive - noticed my finger tips were hot and cold sensitive..
Keeping any sores at bay but can feel the potential.
Waking up very early - think it was a bright moon last night - then crash for a while - afternoon crashes not so deep but still there.
Some aches and pains from RA coming back for the first time. Broke down and popped a pill. _________________ Age 61

Note self 60 mg of pseudoephridine is perhaps overkill
Just a little too much energy today and it did not help with the early spring allergies ( buds busting out all over here )
Aches and muscle cramping seem to be at bay - banana's help - have to up the intake - clearly I'm not getting potassium.
Get to break the news to daughter today - she'll be fine but surprised. _________________ Age 61

Daughter was fine - had a great weekend with the kids but......
Have this very deep pain in neck and shoulder on the left side that seems immune to acetominiphen.
Tried to see if there were any side effects listed with neck pain. Very uncomfortable - makes it hard to sleep.
Next cycle tomorrow so I guess I will wait and chat with the oncologist.
Any insight appreciated.
I have no history of problems with neck shoulder tho riding the mcycle can sometimes leave a stiff joint but I've barely been on it as the weather has been too cold.
This is energy sapping _________________ Age 61

Round 3 coming up today.
Shoulder and neck seem to be subsiding - that's a big positive.
Energy levels okay but fade more quickly.
Serious spring cleaning coming up thanks to steroids this weekend..
Keeping fingers crossed that veins will be found easily - worst part of chemo for me. _________________ Age 61

Yuck - feeling very tired and cranky.
Good news is one needle this time.
Bad news is woozy and headachy but at least the neck and shoulder are gone.
Guess the steroids will pick me up tomorrow.
Suspect sleep will be long in coming....hope there's lots on. _________________ Age 61

Third time of six is one of the dreariest cycles. By now you're used to the routine, so the novelty has worn off, yet the end still seems far away. But this too shall pass.
Enjoy the roid rage! _________________ Age 37 (36 at diagnosis)

Day 3 Cycle 3 - black humour time
Gotta fire the bikini wax lady.....what a patchy job....
expected to lose the head hair - not the rest....
.
This is turning into to some sort of medical rebirth sequence - you get weaker and weaker and look more and more like a bare baby and your immune system gets rebooted in the process.
Add a couple trips to the CT scanner aka birth canal and the mythical journey is rather complete.....
•••
Busy insane - tired and cranky third day of third cycle. Long term client came in for a video card replacement walked out with a MacPro - nice sales bump - he bought mine so that was a lot of huffing and puffing to switch them quickly...I'm on the big Kahuna now....pretty damn quick. 16 processors !!! across my menu bar. Tired me out real quick between unpacking lugging reconfigure and repacking.
got up 22 today - have not seen much of it,,- heading out shortly for supper on the Silverwing. Gonna hit Mr Greek - I'm a bit overloaded on Swiss Chalet.
Been fighting a low level headache but biz very good so can't curl up.
Got a short nap and along shower with lotsa luffa....that's when I discovered the wax job...it can stay patchy.....even with keeping the head shaved tho I'm getting better at it.... no change in arm leg hair and eyebrows still intact...
Weather is going to turn rainy so that's probably part of the head achy.
My kid got the hammock out - sweet boy -- then promptly fell asleep in it.
Be okay sans the headache but can feel the lack of stamina.....even the steroids aren't giving much of a jolt.
Off for food....no lack of appetite tho it's not quite so insistent...waist size down a tad and a bit of a weigh drop nothing that isn't welcome and not problematic.
Good blood counts.
CT scan coming up in a few weeks . _________________ Age 61

Head ache getting under control.
Going grocery shopping on steroids is hilarious.
We'll have some bacon and ham and and my that apple crumble look yummy .......if it had fat content it was attractive.....even grabbed a bag of chocolate milk......
THEN had a BLT and shake on the way home......body wants fuel and rich fuel at that.
Taste for coffee gone again so have to watch withdrawal headache.....will try some mint tea and black tea latte - I like sipping on that as I work even if it's cold.
Nap time..... _________________ Age 61

Sound like your "holistic" diet for lymphoma is like mine: pizza and beer.

I asked Doc about eating.....he said EAT!!!
The body doesn't absorb nutrients well and it's trying to rebuild so it's not getting much of what is going in. I just let my body tell me what's it's looking for.
Dealing with indolent must be worrisome in some respects....I guess every day without symptoms brings more therapies into play. But how to decide what to do.??
Take care _________________ Age 61

Don't worry about the bikini wax job...in another two months you'll be as smooth as a baby's bottom "down there". I wish I could tell you how to stop the chaffing though...still working that part out myself. _________________ Age 37 (36 at diagnosis)

I used for helping the healing of my surgery and just continued.
Baby powder good too - I've always loved it. _________________ Age 61
