Yeah I avoided the drug plan - it's been a balance off. Self employed would have cost a couple hundred a year for dental and drug.
We have a cap on drug costs anyways /
The steroids cost nothing - just the anti-nausea. _________________ Age 61

I don't feel _bad_ today, but very tired and lethargic. Like the world is moving at double speed.
Oh well, a relaxing weekend awaits! _________________ Age 37 (36 at diagnosis)

Hi joepet
I basically stayed in bed for 3 days at the last cycle. It takes a while to get to top form but you will get there.
I take it all is finished now _________________ Age 52

During the 5 day chemo??
Hmm - I must be fortunate - I do crash in the afternoon - had a good sleep this aft but except for the first day and evening I'm pretty much fully functional.....cept for the munchies which are sort of fun.
The crashes are vicious tho.... _________________ Age 61

I was feeling really tired and worn down this morning, with dull aches in arms and legs, from the time I woke up until making it to work. Unfortunately, I found the cure: a morning cup of coffee.
I don't even drink all that much normally, certainly not as much as in my youth. Perhaps a cup of coffee and some tea. But I don't recall having anything caffinated yesterday, and I guess my body started to react today.
I guess that caffeine withdrawal becomes stronger during chemo as well. _________________ Age 37 (36 at diagnosis)

I'd say maybe - first week caffeine was the only thing that knocked the headache down ...not much lately but then I'm on a few latte a day again do _________________ Age 61

My followup has been determined. On April 24th I'll have a CT scan, followed by a Gallium scan on the 27th, and a colonoscopy on the 28th. Then I meet with the doc to find out what it all means on May 12th.
So still over a month before I can get the all clear sign.
Also a bit more anemic and my CRP is over 3 for some reason, but my LDH is back down to 238 and WBC is still over 35.
Looking forward to finishing this! _________________ Age 37 (36 at diagnosis)

With less than 1% of the population as Christians, I think the answer is obvious.
