The radiotherapy didn't work and the tumor grew in size and in places (it appears in three different ones). The doctors told us to combine Temodar and Lapatinib as experiment. I can't find much information so any advise/help will be much appreciated. Does it worth it? Has anyone else did it?
many thanks

Hi Adam. I have never heard of Lapatinib being used for the treatment of Brain Cancers but I can understand why someone might be interested to check it out. It has been used with some success for the treatment of advanced Breast Cancers because it can get to brain mets. It is a long shot but one worth taking at this point. Just remember two things: 1. It is still experimental and 2. GBMIVs, rarely (if ever) go into remission. All you can hope for is a little more time.
