I am interested in finding alternatives to liposomal vitamin c. Not because of doubts about the effectiveness of liposomal vitamins, but because of costs and availability (there are no outlets that sell it in the UK).

I have seen reports of people mixing water soluble substances with coconut milk in an effort to increase bioavailability. The idea is that this would by-pass the gastro-intestinal tract & liver and pump stuff into the lymphatic system. Of course all of the reports are anecdotal, but the structure of cococnut oil makes it all seem very feasible.

In this case I am looking at mixing ascorbic acid powder with coconut milk.

So, has anyone tried it? Does anyone have experiences to share? Is this a waste of time?
