Hi all
Ahhh Holidays, what a beautiful thought. I had a holiday recently, after my chemo, and Jane and I had the best time ever. It was only for a week, as we care for my Mother in law who has Alzheimer's, but with help from my Brother in law we were able to get away. We stayed at a local beach, Glenelg, and booked a luxury apartment on the beachfront and we spoiled ourselves for that week.
Back in the 80's Jane and I had a motorbike trip across the continent and around West Australia and we are currently planning a trip around the whole country. It should take about a year, but it is a long way off before we do that.
For anyone planning a holiday how about coming to Oz! after all we have 59,736 km of coastline and we will even chuck a prawn on the barbie for ya. ( we call them prawns not shrimp )
In the meantime glorious day trips on our motorbike, with stops to look at antique shops along the way and coffee shop crawls through the Adelaide hills are great for recharging those batteries _________________ Age 53

I have never considered myself sane.
There are several things that keep me going.
1. I have a love of plants, and have house plants at home and at work I care for.
2. The dopey grey brindle cat we have- love is unconditional, except at meal times,
3. The mobile home we bought 7 months before Ben was diagnosed,
4.My family, my work, and friends.
5. I like to make jewelry, and to knit. We watch birds, and do word puzzles.
6 We love laughing at a good joke. _________________ Kathy: still loving Ben, as he rests with God. |
