Weird sensations in my head and left side of my body ... What is this ?

Hello all,

About 2 weeks ago I started feeling a weird sensation in my head, it wasn't a headache but a cloudy feeling. It was as if I was drunk without the normal reactions to being drunk ie tired, vomity. It was a daze feeling I was having.

About a few days later I started feeling weird sensations in my left arm, that became painful but it subsided soon after. The following day I was perfectly fine and thought I got over what ever it was, but that same night, the entire left side of my body went numb to the touch. I was frightened but I didn't go the the emergency room because I just hoped it would pass.

I've been to the doctor and he ran blood tests on that says I should be perfectly fine, and I think he believes I'm a hypochondriac. I've told him about the pains, about how my eyes seem to cross without warning (I wear contacts). I spoke to him about my always tired arm and left side of my body.

Recently I've been getting headaches but I'm taking aspirin to combat that.

If I were to have a question it would be, could it be something serious if these weird sensations come and go without warning because I think my doctor is suggesting if it was something serious I would have them all the time.

Hi tintcolor. Yes, it could be many things that a blood test would not pick up but some that aspirin might mask. It could be a cancer but without other, more appropriate test, who knows?

Keep working with your medical team to try to figure out what is causing this symptom.
